I am getting stationed there in October of this year and would like to know how hard it is to get a Roadster registered. I am coming from TX which is pretty relaxed but havent done much research on NJ yet. My home of record is in Texas so I know I can keep it registered in TX without having to worry about the NJ laws but wanted to check first.

Not difficult to register at all. NJ has a pretty streamlined inspection process if the car has not been titled yet. If it has been previously titled, then NJ makes it a no brainer, and inspection can be done at a local "kit friendly" garage.

Hey Jack-

You shouldn't have any trouble registering it in NJ, but frankly I would just leave it with a TX registration. One of the benefits of being active is not having to deal with some of these hassles when relocating. Just wanted to add my two cents; of course, you do you though!
