removing stock e-brake handle

just wondering if there is something special to removing the e brake handle. mine is an 06 wrx wagon handle, just appears to be glued on.

Are you referring to the plastic handle cover? If so, just twist it around and it should slide off.

yes sir the plastic handle with the fake stitching on top. i will try just twisting.

that was it. just glued on, had to wrestle with it a little.

I warmed it with a heat gun then pulled (hard).
