Factory Five MK4 New build Video - Episode 11

Two days ago I called ffR and spoke to Dan Golub, told him how much i emjoyed the videos and asked when the next would be published. Today I noticed on youtube that indeed they did publish eiisode 11. In this video called "getting back to the build" Dan talks about mostly the power steering rack mod and the new clutch quadrant. I have already done the power steering rack but have one question, how do i know if i need to add the rack extenders, my rack seems to be fine. I got my rack from Breeze.

He explains that Apparently his build card turned into the FFR 289 roadsetr.

The rack extenders are to improve the front end geometry and reduce bump steer. You don't need them for the steering to work. Some run without them. But most I think would agree they should be used.

Depending on when you got your rack from Mark at Breeze, it may already have the extenders installed. I see he's including them now with his PS rack: http://breezeautomotive.com/details.php?prod_id=445 I bought my PS rack from him a couple of years ago, and they weren't included. I had to add them myself. You can pull back the boot to see if they're there, or you could ask him.

Good point, I have the rack extenders but as far as i know there are none in the rack on the car. I think thay came with the complete kit.

The description of that Breeze rack sounds like the one i have but mine is painted grey. Mine is 3 turns lock to lock.
