Hi all, I need to order a handbrake cable for my Mk III Using the supplied handbrake assembly with Wilwood disks, does anyone know if that's a Ford product or aftermarket ?

Thanks

The FFR supplied Wilwood discs on my Mk4 build did require Wilwood specific cables. The connector at the caliper end is slightly different than the standard Ford one. Which rear axle setup do you have and what is the orientation of the caliper? I can tell you which Wilwood cable I used when I get home and look at my records. But may not fit your setup. Note you will also need an equalizer. Like this one: http://www.breezeautomotive.com/details.php?prod_id=181

Perhaps: http://grammarist.com/spelling/disc-disk/. I really should be in the garage instead of doing this:).

Back on point -- home and can look it up. For the Ford e-brake handle in the stock FFR location, and FFR supplied Wilwood brakes, with a solid axle (e.g. caliper in roughly 4:00 position) I used these Wilwood cables: part number 330-11282, individual cables are 330-11281. Cables are 81-1/2 inches long, sheath 76-3/8 inches long. Ball end each end. Installs above 4 inch tube, through both back and front mounts, uses Ford standard equalizer as I mentioned in the first response. Good luck.
