Hey FFR community.

I am in the states for a couple of weeks and would love to be able to meet an 818 in the flesh.

Im in Raleigh NC for a few days right now and on Sunday we head up to new york before landing in LA for a week.

Would anyone of you out there be open to having my wife and I come see your car? Mid build/finished I dont mind. PM me if your up for it or leave a comment here.

If you are in NY take the 3 hour ride up to Factory Five, definitely worth your time.

While up here I can take you for a ride in the orange 818.

I don't know of any in LA, but there are two completed in Orange County (about an hour's drive south of LA). Brandon has a completed R, although I believe his motor is still in the shop, and Erik has a completed electric S. I'm another 45 minutes south of there in North Coastal San Diego County, just off Interstate 5. My S is almost to go-cart stage, so if you can make the drive down and want a good look at the mechanicals you're welcome to stop by.

If you don't make it to FFR, and since you have a week in LA, spend a day in San Diego... lots to see and do here, and I'm only a five minute detour off the freeway ;)

I agree that a visit to Factory Five is worthwhile. In addition to Kalstar's completed car there are 4 more in various stages of completion within an hour's drive of FFR, including my own. I would certainly be happy to have you visit and am guessing the others would be as well.

Awesome.

Also is there any parts that I should pickup while in the states that would be good to get for he build? The hood clips/pins?
