Got a message from Arlene last night. Preston recently suffered a heart attack, he is expected to make a full recovery. He is currently in the CCU but is doing well. Many of us know Preston and Arlene through their longtime association with all us FFR owners. They own a roadster, and are the founders of the Miranda Faith Foundation. Please keep the family in your prayers as Preston and the family recover from this.

Jeff, thanks SO much for the note. I haven't spoken to Preston in a few months (life getting in the way as always) but they are GREAT people. Glad to hear he's doing well at this time. Here's hoping for a quick return to normal life and home.

This is Preston. Doing okay. They put a stent in yesterday and I will have more surgery later this week. They lost me once on the table but doing well now. Appreciate the thoughts.

I gotta ask; Did you see "a light"?

We'll all be thinking of you during the surgery. For now the best thing to do is listen to your doctor(s) before AND after the surgery.

Dang. Stay away for a day and you go off and have a heart attack. Glad to hear you're going to be OK. Follow the doctors orders to a tee and hope you have a speedy recovery.

Always subject to change. Going home tomorrow. Test on Monday then surgery next Thursday in Jacksonville. Need time to recoup per the doctor.

Having 4 more stents put in tomorrow morning at 8:00 in Jacksonville at St. Vincents. Guess its a complicated procedure. Thanks,

Surgery over. 5 stents instead of 4. Waiting for room. Should be out tomorrow.

Actually no. It's all genes. My bp is great as is my good and bad cholesterol. Will be on meds and have check ups. Thank you!

Thank you all for your words of encouragement. Things seem to be well. The doctor says I should be able to return back to work in the next few weeks (so I'm only putting in 8 hour days.... clients don't wait).
