I have a MK4 with Coyote. Done and driving, but am thinking I may want to add the remote brake bias adjuster as a project next summer. Has anyone done this? How difficult is it to add this to the wilwood pedal assembly after the fact. I'd also appreciate suggestions on where to put the adjuster knob, and which products are the best to use. Thanks in advance.

It's pretty easy to add after the fact if you have good access to the top of your footbox. If you have to go in from underneath it's a PITA.

Slider,
Since you are running a Coyote you will run into clearance problems like me due the narrower footbox to clear the Coyote head. I used the Wilwood bias adjuster but added a 90 degree adapter from Tilton to change the angle that the cable comes into the pedal box. The Wilwood bias adjuster cable goes straight into the adjustment rod in the Wilwood pedal box which is facing directly at the engine (90 degrees to how you push the brake pedal). There isn't very much room from the threads to the footbox wall and it makes the radius of the 90 degree turn the cable needs to make too tight. The Tilton 90 degree coupler solves this. you cut off the threaded end of the Wilwood cable and insert the cable into the Tilton adjuster and secure with a set screw. It is expensive at $80 but unless you want to drill through the footbox wall I didn't see much of an option. I mounted (i.e. hid) my adjustment knob under the steering wheel just in front of the brake pedal to keep my curious kids from turning the dial (would not be good).

This was excellent! Thanks for sharing. I'll get these ordered and plan on doing this in the spring when it warms up! I do have an access panel cut into the footbox, but it's still a pretty tight fit in there...

bansheekev beat me to it. The 90* adapter will help. And yes, they are expensive!
Of course, Wilwood makes an adjuster. Longacre also makes a couple different styles.
