I know there's a tool available, but I'll probably never need it again. Is there a trick or technique to remove the push on connectors on the OEM rail? My lines are run, and would like to hook them up!

Thanks,

Lee

I ordered the tool but my 14 year old figured it out before it arrived. He slipped a couple of fine picks in along the tube and depressed the tabs inside and it came apart easily. I now have a tool I'll never use.

Thanks... I tried getting in there with the smallest jewelers screwdrivets I have, but no luck. Ill break down and buy the tool.

All my local autoparts stores sell cheap plastic fuel line tools that work ok.

Thanks, Ill pick up a cgeap one then. All the ones I find online were $15 to $20 which is a waste to just use once.

popcicle sticks soaked in water work in a pinch.

I bought the $5 plastic tool but it didn't work, the prongs go around 360 degrees and interfere with the fuel rail support bracket. I tried trimming a little material off it, and it broke apart . Seriously, it should not be this difficult to remove a fuel line! Anyway, enough is enough, and not wanting to order or hunt for another tool, I (carefully) cut through the Aluminum surround with a Dremel and removed them... done.
