Door Latch

didn't realize my little story didn't post....stupid copy and paste. So if I want the latch part to meet the part that is on the body, it looks like I would need a 1/4 inch spacer behind the plate on the door. Or should I try to bend the bolt that attaches to the body?

FFR supplies 2 laser cut spacers with the latch hardware for just this purpose.
