I just received the bare chassis and wanted to make some progress before is end it off to Powdercoated. Reading the manual it sounds like there are quite a few steps that require drilling and fitment later in the build which would indicate I'd still be drilling into a Powdercoated frame. Is there any real benefit to get most of the drilling done before? In cases where you have to grind or drill the frame post coating, do you touch up with paint or grease?

If you have to touch up after powder coating, use paint. Not grease

There may be a little benefit but after powder coating but you will have to clean the coating out of the holes before you can use the fasteners.
