I'm looking for an engine/tranny set up and was wondering if anyone has any knowledge or experience with the Phoenix engines.

If you're referring to this facility, then yes. A buddy of mine had his 1968 302 rebuilt by them last winter. I helped him pull & reinstall the engine in his 68 Mustang. He was happy w/their work & price. They're just a few miles from my house, too.

Hi mc314,
I am much closer to you than phoenix engines. This is my 30th year in business and have been a Warehouse Distributor for Ford racing since 1985. I have a complete engine machine shop and engine dyno in house.
Call me for a quote. I have complete turnkey engine/tranny package starting at $7300.00.

Use Mike Forte. He has a good reputation because he does a good job. He is in your neighborhood which is a big plus. If you have a problem it would be a short trip to Mike.
