First 160 miles complete

pretty cool out today...but just warm enough with the sun and the heater to go for another shake down run.... still tweaking this and that....I added some spacers to the webers to keep the fuel from boiling over on shutdown...which of course messed up the sync on the carbs....got that all fixed up and NO LEAKS! The tires are good even in the cool...and give a nice ride...all in all the car runs pretty darn good. The only thing I noticed today is that the radiator is VERY efficient...I am getting to about 160* with a 185* T-stat...I won't be driving in this weather anyway...but I think my bypass hose is too big or something....gave it good wipe down and went for a few more miles after I hung up my outside Christmas lights....anyway... some beauty shots...Spring time 2015 is gonna be fun I think!

yeah car drives dead straight...none of those wandering issues you here about with the BB....They do not let you know you losing traction though....If I quick shift between 1st and second the tires light up and the car steps out....no noise...although it could just be the pipes :) ... Braking is good as well...I haven't tried to push it too hard in a corner....I didn't really build this car to drive the crap out of like my others...it's not fragile by any means....I just have a ton of detail work and a lot of sweat and tears in it....may be getting older..just like to cruise...it is the nicest riding car I have built....the heater works awesome....just a good fun car with tons or torque!!
