This question is for Jesper Ingerslev.
We have a 12 year old FFR MK I or II, not sure which, FFR 2687, for which we are considering buying one of the new premium tops sold by FFR and made by Rod Tops in Michigan.
The installation video on FFR says there needs to be 27” between the “inside corner of the door and the center of the top screw on the outside of the windshield frame”.
We have 27 ˝” on both sides and are trying to determine if we really need to reposition the w/s to 27” or can get by ok as is. We really don’t want to reposition the w/s as it appears to be a pita.
The contact at Rod Tops says we will probably be ok but suggests we reposition the w/s. Others with this top say we will be ok.
Jesper, since you did the vidio, I want to know what you think.
