So my air filter does not sit in the middle of the hole, its off to one side. If i try to adjust to the middle, my side pipes go out of wack. Is this normal?

The engine is offset to the passenger side by an inch or so by design. Here's a photo that I took of one while I was determining centerlines that shows it.
