Has anyone else had a problem with the triangular Push/Pull Pin on the Switch? I can't get it to lock in to the switch. Is there a trick to this? I push it in as far as it will go, and it pulls right back out. I've even tried pushing the little release button underneath, but the pin just won't lock in to the switch. This is from a complete MK4 roadster with the Ron Francis wiring and an FFR supplied switch.

A few that I used had the same problem. Poor quality.

I had the opposite problem with mine. It would click into place and then almost impossible to get back out. Bought a genuine branded ACDelco D1588 switch. Not expensive and seems to be higher quality. The one in the kit appears to be a knock-off.

I had the same problem on one of my builds. FFR sent a replacement after a phone call and explaination.

OK, as always, many thanks for the responses. Nice to know it's not just me. Probably a faulty switch. I'll call FFR and also check out the Delco part.
