Jorge,

Awesome spats! Held up well in a spirited ride in the rain to an AX on Saturday. May have to get some for my friend.

Clear spats are really the way to go, since those beautiful hips (thighs?) can get sandblasted rather quickly. Clear spats offer protection without showing very much: I am on my second set, with 12,000+ miles on the odo. BTW, clear spats work best when applied right after the body is painted: they don't cover up any nicks! So get them early, while you are building, before the finish on your car tells you you should have done just that.

Hey Pierre, thanks for the words of wisdom.

Hey Jorge, saw the spats, they look fantastic! Think they'll fit my Hunter C0bra?

jlfernan

They should. The leading edge of the rear fenders are pretty similar to FFR's. A little heat from a heat gun should get them to wrap around.
