I thought I had a good general knowledge of cars but I guess I missed something somewhere when it comes to coolant.
This isn't exactly a Roadster question but it is for me and maybe for others out there.
I just heard about waterless antifreeze and its properties. I wont list them here but many seem to hold some real
advantages for performance, aluminum componented, and stored engines. I heard no negatives except the price when compared to standard glycol base products. It might not be a necessity but could benefit my engine.
Any comments would be appreciated.

I looked at that stuff. I didn't see enough bang for the buck to make it worth while.

It is still glycol based and thus can't use it at most tracks, so I avoided it, but it does have some nice properties, I did find water additive that I have been using for the past 2 race seasons and no corrosion in the engine or radiator, after 2 years the water is still clear (well a blue tint since the additive is blue).

It is expensive, but many people have been using it with excellent results. There is a well known celebrity that did a show on it and apparently is using it in several of his vehicles.

Here's one of a few discussion threads: http://www.ffcars.com/forums/17-factory-five-roadsters/366986-glycol-water.html

Here is another thread. I saw it on Wheeler Dealers a few years back. I was really excited about the no pressure aspect. But, the more I read, the less I liked it. Reports of gaskets weeping, water pump leaks, and flammability put me off.

Thanks to all who responded. It was very educational.
It looks like I am a few years behind the detailed discussions on waterless antifreeze. Next time I will try the advanced search first.
Anyway I do have to think about it but the question I have to ask myself and answer is "If I don't have any problems
now is it worth switching?"

Gee, I'd have to say no! Especially if you think about the effort required in clearing your existing system (not clear to me how important that really is), and then worrying about potential leaks? Just one guy's opinion:p.

Oh, if it aint broke, lets just spend more money to fix it anyway.

Always need to keep those dips out.
