Cruse Control delete

I really don't want cruse control and I still have way too many wires.
Can I take out the CRU Unit Assy and take out all of those wires back to their source or will kill something?

Mine was a 2002 and I had no issues deleting it, pretty straight forward. Are you working from the schematics?

I was hoping to just cut back. The schematics I have fill 2 loose leaf books. and to follow a circuit you may have to look through 4 chapters.
