Anyone in Mass. build, register and insure their 818s? If so, what company covers the 818s?

I went with the national corvette museum's program. The one in bowling Greene, KY that had the sink hole. http://www.ncminsurance.com/

Stated value while building. Agreed value when completed.

Geico said they would cover mine. I am in Colorado. You may have to speak with several people before you find someone that knows what a Factory five is. Just mention that Factory Five is known for their cobra replicas, usually that helps. You have to have a minimum of two daily driver cars if you are married. A stated value of $24-30k was cheaper than my 2006 subaru legacy gt or at least the same and I have no tickets or wrecks...knock on wood.

A number of my customers and friends have gotten their insurance from NCM Insurance and Adam Boca and are really happy. They specialize in Collector, Specialty, Kit Cars and Hot Rods.
His phone is 270 467 8853 e-mail is adam@corvettemuseum.org

Stated value is used to determine premiums, not payouts. Actual payout is determined by their assessment of the value of the car at the time of the accident.
Agreed value is used to determine payout in the event it's totaled.

most places require their drivers to be 26, this will not apply to most people on this board but it does for me...:(

Ah, maybe that was what I was missing. I tried to insure another kit car (image below) along with my daily driver WRX (which will become my 818 donor), but they said no way. Of course, the 1929 Merc SSK replica is a bit different than the 818 will be.....i.e., much older (circa 1970s) parts and much bigger ?-mark on virtually everything on it, LOL.
