Mk 4 Lisense plate issue solved

Ok this going to be too EZ. Its just sitting in place for a photo for now but you get the idea. Add a frame bracket and its game over, no more Mk 4 license issue. I can only complicate it by offering the thought of the backing plate being polished with a bump in the middle to echo the MK 4 trunk bump. This idea will also lend itself well to smoothing out the trunk. I ordered this part Monday night about 10:30 online with Summit Racing. It was deliverd Wednesday afternoon. Bam! It is part # BSP-55220. Very nice quality part, uses a standard dome light type bulb so no problem with LED issues or replacements. This is easy quick and looks good.

I like the idea of going full tilt fix the trunk but haven't convinced myself to go all in.

I've gotten so used to seeing the perky butt that even though it's wrong, it looks right! I meant to take a photo of the tail of my perky Mk3 next to the Mk4 I'm building for comparison but forgot and have pulled the 4's body already. They really are a noticably different profile and the new rear is certainly handsome. I'll make sure I get a side by side shot after painting the Mk4.

Same with the roll bars. Now I had to go with a 2" bar for the same reason, that what I'm used to seeing.
