I decided that I would take a few chances on my fifth FFR build, so the first thing on my list is installing a mid shifter on my TKO. This is one of those jobs that I usually farm out, but I want to do most of the work myself on this one. Anyway, the first thing is driving out the roll pins. The one in the center of the rear compartment is hitting the bottom of the case before it falls out. I got the other three out but the pieces hit the case before they slip off the rails. So what the heck am i doing wrong? Yes, the trans is in neutral, as specified.
