I am trying to come up with a simple headliner for my 33. What did you use for the board and how did you attach it?

I covered the foam pad that came with my kit with marine grade vinyl that is used for boat seats (happened to find an interesting snake skin pattern that I used for the door panels as well). As with the carpets, used Super 77 spray adhesive liberally applied to both the pad and inside of the top. Glued the headliner before the top was installed, so gravity was my friend. While it has only been in place for a short period, it seems to be holding well.

I bonded in a piece of aluminum and had flames added and pinstriped. It's hard to photograph but hopefully gives you an idea. 3550835509
