Where's the best place (price wise) to buy them, and how many do you really need for a Mk4 build?

Aircraft Tool Supply is one place, there are many others. A dozen 1/8" will get you by, 25 would be better. There are a few places you could use the 3/16" ones, 6 or so is all that is needed of those. I have 50 of the 1/8" ones and never ran out although the box did get a little empty at one point. Don't forget the pliers.

I got mine at Aircraft Spruce. Another good supplier. How many? Seems this question often leads to a spirited discussion: http://thefactoryfiveforum.com/showthread.php?15729-Clekos&highlight=clecos

I got mine here about 3 years ago. http://www.cokid.com/
The price was the best I found at the time.

I also got one 1/8" drill bit from them (I made a mistake ordering). I swear I got well past half of the car done with that one bit. Then I went through at least a dozen more, of various brands, from Home Depot for the other half.

x2 on cokid.com, great prices and cheap enough (41 cents ea) to have 50. Depends on how far into the build you want to be able to take the panels off and if you are doing mods.
