I'm not sure I've got this Rear Cockpit Side Cover, #80177, in the right place. I can cut & fit things but this seems so far off I wonder if I'm way off. This is sandwiched between the Door Striker Bolt-On Mount #80362-3 and the frame, with the oval hole in the cover matching the oval part of the mount. Can someone show me how it fits? And, should it be bent to follow the inner curve of the front engine cover?

flip it over, the thinnest section mates up with the drip tray that sits on top of the square tube behind the seat that the roll bar is welded to
it doesn't get bent, FFR used carpet to bridge the curved gap, I made aliminum pieces for that area... see my thread

Has anyone gotten this piece to fit? I saw a few threads that mention it but none that show it fitting correctly.

So what did you do Zodiac? Left open area or used something to cover?

Since I started this thread nearly two years ago, I should respond. It's good news. This is an area that you get to be creative and design your own cover for the area behind the door. From the supplied piece or other aluminum you'll be able to fashion what fits your interior. That's all part of the fun, otherwise you could have just bought a car.
