View Full Version : Help, which side do i place alternator

Hi, I am new to this forum. Started building #631 in February 2014. Have run into glitch. I installed a 347 stroker from Blueprint engines and ready to buy alternator but having problemes deciding which side is best. Was thinking of installing on passenger side using a March alternator bracket kit (#30395) from summit but seems a bit low and afraid alternator will not fit between frame and motor.
Has anyone installed a 347 stroker in the 33 rod. If so please help. :confused:

Mine was located high on drivers side. See my 33 build thread.

I make a bracket that mounts it high or low on the passenger side.
