I wanted to share what I've learned the past few months after making a spare ignition key.
The problem: I needed another ignition key and couldn't find a clear answer on the forums. FFR couldn't sell me replacement blanks nor tell me the vendor who sells the ignition, but did help point me to a possible solution posted on FFR Forum.
I have the standard ignition from FFR shown in the picture attached.
Hillman (Fasteners, Keys, Letters & Numbers & Signs: Engraving & Pet Tags: The Hillman Group) was very helpful by email. The two blanks they have to fit are import Toyota keys:
1. Item # 84196, EZ# TR-33. This is the one without the rubber head.
2. Item # 84274, EZ# TR-33PH. With rubber head.
3. The Cassette E 80 is the hood and truck key blank.
4. The key in the center of the picture with the “5” stamped in to the rubber head is the key that came with my ignition.
