Reference needed

I have wanted to make an "El Cid", aka "Dragonsnake" replica since I saw one in the flesh at New England Dragway several eons ago. Bruce Chevernak makes a sweet little version that I want to put on my MK4 frame. I have talked to Bruce several times over the last few weeks and we are 90% sure we are doing the deal. I would like someone who has dealt with Bruce to call me (or comment here) and tell me what their experience was, good or bad. Bruce knows I'm asking and any replies to me will be held in the strictest confidence. Here's the sweet little thing I want to build:

Did the original El Cid have Tilt front end?

Not sure, but I think John Olsen may have rec'd his slabside body from Bruce. Might PM him on the other forum, as he frequents it quite often.
I know Bruce has been in the business for many years, and I've never heard a complaint.

Bruce does great work, no doubt. But be aware, you can not be in any hurry what so ever when dealing with him. Also, make sure to have clear communication with him and ask every question of him regardless of how trivial you may think it may be. I made the mistake of not asking enough questions when I bought my Super Snake hood from him. Who would have thought I needed to ask if the hood came as one piece or as the hood and the inside liner. Oops, for more than the price of the Factory Five hood I still needed to bond the two pieces together. I learned a valuable lesson, ask the stupid questions.
