Question on Ron Fransis chassis harness with stock EFI harness

Hi,

I'm going this route(Ron Fransis chassis harness with stock EFI harness), the Ron fransis manual mentions modifying the fuel pump wires to use the ones on the EFI harness, can anyone share their experience on how to do this, don't want to mess it up. Pics would really help.

I have a mark 3 and it has been several years but I have the same setup, RF chassis harness and a modified EFI harness. You need to let the "computer" control the fuel pump so it shuts off when the engine isn't running. Example: when you turn the key on the fuel pump should run for a few seconds and then shut off. If you wire it through the RF harness it will run all the time when the key is on. I believe I ended up with two relays in series to do this by using the EFI signal from the computer to the EFI relay. THis relay output then controlled the RF relay that sent power to the fuel pump.
