Fuel System Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs)

I am using the Boyd fuel tank in my 818S. There is no fuel temperature sensor and I am using none of the evaporative emission control stuff. Therefore, I think the following DTCs can be disabled in the ECU. I will appreciate any comments / advice from any of you car guys that know more about this stuff than I.

Also, are any of these signals used for control in the ECU such that I need to enter a "dummy" value in a table or something?

P0181 Fuel Temperature Sensor “A” Circuit Range/Performance
P0182 Fuel Temperature Sensor “A” Circuit Low Input
P0183 Fuel Temperature Sensor “A” Circuit High Input
P0442 Evaporative Emission Control System Leak Detected (small leak)

get a Tactrix cable and ECUFlash software. The software is free. The cable is under $200.00. You could also borrow one, it doesn't get married to the ECU like the Cobb stuff. I never used one before and it only took me 10 minutes to take care of exactly what you are talking about.

Pretty much all Evap codes can simply be "turned off" or disabled. There shouldn't be any that need values.

I kept 458 and 459 because I kept the purge valve, but otherwise that looks like the same list I did.

I couldn't get rid of P0183. I posted it over at NASIOC and the word was that the fuel temp sensor might be used in the ECU logic somewhere. I ended up duct taping the fuel temp sensor to the outside of the tank and hooking it up.
