Hi everyone,

Need help visualizing where the fuel filter would go and how should I route the lines from there to the front, I'm going EFI, in tank pump.

Also need help with the rear brake lines, not sure where the bracket should go and how to from the bracket forward, I'm going 3 link and I have all the lines done on the rear end itself.

If you can post pictures of how this should be routed it would really help me, pictures in the manual are not detailed enough.

Thanks,
Jose

No pics since the car is in the paint shop. But I centered mine just under the upper trunk deck in a horizontally. Inlet from the passenger side outlet on drivers side. Then cut an access hole in the upper trunk deck and used rivnets to close the cover. The filter is attached to the 3/4" tubes and is solid.

I have a picture of where my fuel filter is mounted, although it is a little dark, you should get the idea. I can reach it easily in this position from under the car, (with rt/rr wheel off), to replace, or tighten hose clamps as needed. If you look closely upper center of the photo you can see how I transitioned the supply and return lines from the hard lines to the rubber lines. Also obviously visible is the charcoal filter mounting location, where it is used simply as a vapour filter from the tank, and is not connected to the engine at all.

In this picture the filter is more obvious, and you can see I used the donor filter bracket, witha hose clamp to secure it. The other line visible is my brake line.

My brake lines were done differently than your planning, but I believe the center of 2x3" frame member at the rear bulkhead would be the best place to locate your junction between the hard line and the flex hose. Just make sure your flex hose is long enough to reach the rear end attachment point, at full droop, without stressing it. Russell stainless brake hoses are available in several lengths for this, as I believe the donor one is to short to use.

As to routing the lines "forward" from the bracket, you may find it better to start at the master cylinder and run them back instead.
Usual routing for the rear line is down the front of the foot box*, curving under the foot box floor framing, and running it down along the outside of the 4" frame tube to the rear of the tube. You then bend it upward and attach it to the larger frame section that leads upward at a bit of an angle and meets the 2x3" rear cross framing behind the cockpit.

*Note- Although this is the routing suggested in the FFR manual, and does work, some concerns about heat from the headers on this brake line, has had several builders routing the line differently. They actually route it down and forward first, from the master cylinder, then back along the main frame tube. If you decide to do it this way I'm sure someone will post a picture of how that routing.
You other choice if you run it down the front of the foot box (as per manual) is to insulate it, or make a heat shield for the line..which is what I did. In this picture you can see my larger heat shield also serves a second purpose. It also insulates heat from the headers at the front foot box, as well as adds protection to this area from road debris. It also runs back under the front section of the floor for protection in this area as well.
