I just installed the 33's grille with rad and condenser installed. The bolts are at the front of the adjustment slots and the bracket is against the bracket from the front suspension. I can't see any way around this without grinding the bracket from the suspension, but I would have to remove too much material and weaken the bracket. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Thanks in advance.

Tim,
Is the condenser mounted behind the Radiator?
It should be in front.
You can also try tilting the grill back as long as you haven't mounted hood and nose cone.

I say grind away. The only purpose of the upper part of that bracket is for mounting the headlights higher if you have fenders, I don;t think grind a little for clearance is going to weaken it. The original design didn't even go up that far. If your not running fenders, you could even just cut the top part right off.

As usually I'm confused...
Is it the bracket that holds the grill on the issue or is the grill/rad assembly touching the chassis where the front lower control arms attach?

I'm running full fenders, so I will grind notches to allow for adjustment but still retain the upper headlight mounting holes. I didn't want to start grinding without checking in case I had assembled it incorrectly.
Silent T : The issue is with the grille to bracket connection, at the top of the bracket, not the bracket to control arm end.
Thanks everyone

I put a large flat washer behind the bracket where it bolts to the suspension and I had to lengthen the slots where it bolts to the grille shell

I am also having a hard time getting the grille-radiator-condenser to mount correctly. Mine is hitting on the bottom where the lower control arms attach. The bolts are the LCA's are jamming into the radiator and the mounting brackets won't fit inside the grille.
It just looks like a crappie set-up. There is to many things mounted on the grille shell.
I am attaching some pictures of what I am working with. Any help will be very welcome, Larry34429344303443134432

The brackets need a little persuasion to get them inside the grille. Once you get the bolts started you should have some adjustment - but you may need to grind some clearance on the bracket as described above so it doesn't hit the lower control arm bolts.
