View Full Version : Roll Bar Mount for Seat Belts?

I am changing the Y-Type seat belts that came with my FFR MKII roadster to H-Type belts. Because of my height I need to raise the mount point of the new belts from the 'thru the rear bulkhead' mounting to something higher.
Some time back there was a thread that described a seat belt mount that bolted to the roll bar. At the time one was sold by Finish Line but they don't carry them any more. And I can't find one on the Breeze site either.
Does anyone know another vendor that sells a roll bar mount for seat belts?
Thanks,

Some shots of our set-up. I've got a couple of others but can't locate them right now.

Thanks for all the replies. I'll take them into account when I install it. That brings up another question: Seems like I recall reading that there should be a slight upward angle from the seatbelt mount to where it passes over your shoulder. Is that correct or have I got it backward?
Thanks again,

Thanks again,

You want to mount them above your shoulder level. If they are attached lower, and, in the unfortunate event of use, they will cause your body to curl and will increase the chance of severe spinal/internal injuries.
