Ordered the 17" x 9" wheels with my kit. What size tires would be a good for a daily driver?

If you got 9 inchers all around you're pretty much limiting the rears to a maximum of 275/40-17. With 10.5" in back you could go up to 315/35-17. In either case you would use 255/40-17 or 245/45-17 in front. I prefer the 255 because they fit the 9" rim better; 245s are a little stretched.

Completed my build in 2013 with the installation of Bridgestone Potenza RE760 Sports: fronts are 245/45 R17 and rears are 275/40 R17. Tire diameter is the same front and rear with a contact patch of 9" in the front and 10" in the rear. I inflate the tires to 21 psi for cruising and 23 psi for track days. The tires ride nice and are very quiet. At the track, they are very predictable when pushed hard in the turns and if you go too far, they will respond quickly to correction. I recommend these tires and will buy them again.

I had a set of RE 730's on mine for a while 285-40 / 245-45 and they were fantastic all around tires. The Bridgestone RE760 tires are an excellent choice.
