Lost all my favorites

Lost all my favorites
I fired up the computer this morning and got a memory error. I ran the restore function and still had some errors. Now all of my favorites are gone. When I tried to add this site to the favorites I get a message telling me it is already in my favorites and do I want to override the current one. I ran the virus scan and it picked some malware and a virus. They are now cleared but I have no idea how to get the favorites back. Any idea would be appreciated.

Did you get it fixed? Using Windows, Internet Explorer? I'm an Apple guy, but try re-importing bookmarks by going in through clicking on Favorites, and add Favorites which allows to import from a file. Load from Documents/bookmarks.html and maybe that will force the favorites back in. Good luck.
