Hi everyone, I had a quick question about the order of mounting when it comes to the main body, associated aluminum, and the dash. My 818 is in full go kart mode, and I was planning on running a local autocross event in order to fine tune some suspension and engine related things. I was wondering if some things needed to be done before others as far as body mounting. I want to mount the windshield and dash, so my gauges/switch panel isn't just floating around while on the course. Can I install the dash and windshield before mounting any of the rest of the body? I wasn't exactly sure if the order of the build manual was important or not to overall building. I also poured through some build threads, and quite a few had interiors finished fairly early. Also, what can I mount as far as under car aluminum before needing to mount body panels? any insight would be awesome thanks!

Yes you could mount both but would have to move or remove them come body mount time IMO. Wayne from VCP has a great procedure for body mounting and such as well as some build threads.

ok sounds good, ill see if I can come up with something then until I mount the body. My very limited body work experience would probably do better with the least amount of interference. As far as under car aluminum mounting, what can I all install? from what I see it looks just like the under seat and under battery aluminum.
