My donor came with an Agency Power fuel distributor kit. I plan on keeping the distributor block and rails but not the lines because whatever kid owned the car before me didn't install it properly and most of the lines are toast (metal braid and outer coating rubbed through in some spots). He's lucky the thing didn't catch fire... most things were just hanging off into space.
Anyway, in looking at line replacement, I wanted to go with new line with AN fittings but I'm thinking solid line might be better than braided. It would be smaller, cleaner, and less prone to wear via friction. Anyone does this before or come up with a reason as to why it's a bad idea? The only down side I can see to it is that it will be tricky to get the bends perfect so it meets with the fuel rail connectors properly.
To clarify, I'm only talking about putting hard lines between the distributor block and the fuel injector rails.
