I fired up the car and noticed fuel dripping from the plastic pan at the rear of the car.
It seemed to be coming from a line on top of the tank, so we dropped the tank to see if something is loose.
I don't see anything obvious, so is there a common problem I should look at or just start checking lines?
I went to bump the starter to see where the fuel is coming from and the battery is dead now.
Not a great day, but part of owning one of these beasts. LOL.
So now I think it's a good time to install a trunk mounted box or remote posts as well. how hard is this on a finished car?
who has the best kit?
Thanks guys.

Check the rubber O rings that are under the pump and fuel level units. They have been known to leak on the FFR supplied units.

Do you have an electric pump? If you do, turn the ignition on but don't start the car. Have some one watch the top of the tank while you do this. Make sure they're wearing safety glasses! You said it started dripping when you started the car so I'm thinking it might be fuel line related.
Good Luck

Probably the gaskets under the sending unit and fuel pump (or pick up). These are easy to replace as they are a standard Mustang part.
