I have been working through all of the on-track video from the Time Attack series with the Hot Rod this summer, and I have a lot to edit and show, starting with this in-car video of a couple of good hot laps in the car at Castrol Raceway. In the end, I finished second in the GT1 class of the 2014 Alberta Time Attack series.

Here are some of the scarier moments from the road course in the Hot Rod this season. It's not the easiest car to handle with manual everything, a cramped cockpit, and limited visibility, so I am feeling pretty good about my second place GT1 finish in Time Attack while keeping it out of the walls in Castrol's concrete canyons. The car is loose if you hammer it wrong, at the limit it understeers in the corners, with no ABS you can lock the brakes, the RXT ceramic twin clutch seems fine on the street but it can unsettle the car on a downshift without rev matching it, and it can come around on you fast if you trail brake it wrong in a corner.
