I've got a leave pass from my wife and have a week from the 10th of December (Arrive in San Francisco on 10th and fly into toronto on the 18th via Boston). The flight from San Francisco to boston isn't booked yet so I'm still flexible with that date but wish to get it sorted sooner than later.
The only thing I have set in stone is I want to visit Factory Five to do a tour and look at the chassis etc, of the GTM, Hotrod and 818. I am going to check when they shut for the holidays.
If possible I would like to catch up with builders and owners of a GTM, Hotrod or 818, I don't mind getting dirty and helping out in exchange for information (and photo's) and the opportunity to see one in person, and also put a face to a forum name. I do realise that december is not the best time for most people due to the holidays and I am willing to be flexible if anyone is able to spare some time.
I'm looking for suggestions for things I should definitely do, things to avoid. Accommodation suggestions
I hope to see a NFL game and possibly a NHL game.
I'm from Perth, Western Australia so I want to get the most out of my week. The next time I'll get an opportunity like this will most probably be when I pick up a kit in the future (hopefully near future).
