Any military people own a Factory five car?
Sure, lot's of us. I've got a MKIII Roadster. Erik Treves is on his second car. I think I remember where one guy on a base ended up running into someone else on the base when they both drove their cars to work.

Retired Army but I work for them as a civilian now. I'm probably moving on to a contractor job in Huntsville when my house sells.

Planning on buying one soon in the Ft. Campbell area. I see another one driving up and down I24 a few days a month and have to keep from crashing.

Army engineer, 20.4 yrs in. Now in Virginia. 4th deployment this summer. Built my 3.1 in 7 months, registered in 8. I thought I only had about a year in a stable, weekend free assignment that turned into 2 yrs. Lots of refinement in the extra time...still upgrading. Planning on giving "Jesebel" to Whitby's in North Carolina in June for professional paint while I'm deployed next year...that's where my combat pay goes... Thus the wife named roadster....Jezebel.
Update 1/17/13: Redeployed from Kuwait in July 12, moved the family to Germany EOM July/Aug12, went back to N.Caroline in Sep12 to pick her up and put her on a ship for Germany. She arrived safely last Oct12. Love it on the autobahn! Lots of snow and ice Dec/Jan so far so no much driving time.... come on spring!

Retired Air Force as well. Picking up an un-started MKIII on 7 May.
Planning on a Cobra Terminator and 6 speed, Black with Orange stripes, White accents on the outside of the Orange and Meatballs. It has Dual Chrome Roll Bars, and Stainless side pipes. Also an IRS Car, and Planning Cobra Brakes, riveted on scoop, power steering, heater/defroster, and heated seats. Interior will have black carpet with orange seats, dash and door panels.
Very excited to get started

Retired USAF. Started my Cobra Jun 2012. Engine is going in 1 Feb. 351W, tremec 3550. Car will be complete 4 jul.
