What is the required dimension between the axle flange and lower control arm bracket. I have 7" clearance from the axle flange to the bracket on my Ford 8.8 axle. Is that correct or will I have to move the bracket towards the differential. I'm worried about the clearance between the tires and the lower control arm.

Hi David,

I don't know what kind of 8.8 you have but mine is from a 95 Cobra and it is 4 7/8 inches from the inside of the axle flange to the outside edge of the FFR bracket that fits over the OEM control arm/shock bracket. Sounds like you are going to have plenty of room for tires.

Good luck, WEK.

I guess what I need to know is the dimension from center to center for the lower control arm brackets on a rear that is 59.25" from axle flange to axle flange?
