I have purchased, and am getting ready to install the Flaming River power rack, Mustang 1979-93. I also have their power steering pump, which is a GM II. Supposedly low flow at speed. I received a bunch of different couplings and an install kit. I am looking for someone with a similar setup for any tips or comments. I also ordered the Breeze mounts??? If there are any issues or things I should be looking for I would appreciate comments. Thanks. Henry.

I have the FR40002-B rack in my MKIV and it works awesome and looks great! I used the Mike Forte power steering pump assembly w/adapter, it was clean, easy to install and I didn't have to run a heidt's valve, fit like a glove too, however I have a Coyote, so it may not work for your setup. http://thefactoryfiveforum.com/showthread.php?8495-How-To-Coyote-Power-Steering
One trick: You'll find out that the tie rods are too short... I fixed this by installing Part # 91034345-MAN from Speedway motors - they are basiclly extensions you put on the end of the rack in-between the outer tire rods. It also has new (longer) bellows to accomodate the additional length. Do NOT modify the adapters in any way, I though I was smart by cutting them down with a lathe so that they didn't come so close to the frame and found out that I made a big mistake and had to buy them all over again (there was no steering stop now), they should work awesome exactly as they come - don't overthink them.
Two trick: Use hoses and fittings designed for power steering as the pressures can get quite high. I used Russell Powerflex Series and it's been holding up great.
I attached a bad picture of the P/S system on my ride for your viewing pleasure. Have fun!!

Thanks. I was getting a little worried that I would have to go in blind and in my case not a good thing. I am going to take some time and digest your suggestions and may have to "call back" for some help. Henry
