I've read the Aluminum Panels and Sidepipes wiki's like 3 times each.
Could really use the Tribal Knowledge from this group of builders. (I might add my IFS build so far, but it's been pretty uneventful, except for trying to get the shock mounting spacers in. What a PITA, but I think there is a trick, taking the outside edge off (just angling it slightly with a dremel is enough).
Any IRS tips? I know the pumpkin is tricky, as well as the washers. (we'll see)
C'mon guys, Contribute for future builders! ;)
Thanks!

looks like I'll be populating it with rookie info when I start my build in a couple of weeks.
Not what I was hoping for either, trying to weed through thousands of threads half of which are full of bad or outdated info.

The categories are pretty much finished. The Techs @ Factory Five are going to start populating it with stuff soon, maybe next week.
I know that I'll be posting technical content soon, as I start helping my brother with his build. Dave Smith has some stuff planned to encourage technical posts as well ;)
It's been a bit of a road, and I had to lay some groundwork first (and then get buy-in from Dave), but believe me when I say it's coming soon.
Right Dave??

My blackberry is like Medusa... every email spawns three. I have spoke to the guys and we were waiting for the structure/outline of the wiki/tech area to be completed before we drop a HUGE amount of info in... everything from paint codes on all the ffr cars we've ever done, backspace/wheel data, race nut-bolt checks, tips, etc.
I think this next week we will start to build it up pretty good.
Once the structure is working well and we're happy with the way info is searched and cataloged, we will launch a contest on the customer side for tech content, best ideas, etc.

Whoa. The amount of detail in the list of Wiki topics is really incredible. Although it may take time to get something into those spaces, I think it is also true that it holds the potential to become the "go-to" place for builders to get technical information that the old FAQ on the other forum never achieved, largely due to simple disorganization. Hang in there gents, looking extremely good.

Very, very, very cool stuff guys!!!! Looking forward to helping contribute whatever I can. In the end, this will be so incredibly worth the time and effort you guys have been putting in.
Thanks David & Dave for getting this going! :D
