how do i make the rear quarters match up vertically with the engine cover?

it seems that i would have to sand down the lip on the engine cover and trunck lid
to make the body smooth across the back. anyone have this issue? what is your solution?

solution A leave asis no one but us ffrs will know the dif
solution B sand sown the lips on the engine cover and trunk lid
any other ideas?

you have to cut those return edges quite a bit, eventually you will have that rubber stick on molding there too

you have a bunch of trimming on many of the panels...
