Anyone else using one of these?
it seems like a really inexpensive solution other than trying to fit the air filter box somewhere.

I think that's what my neighbor used. Or something similar.

I'm using the Cobb equivalent. My shop had one with a broken bolt stud stuck in there. I took a chance and picked it up cheap. Luckily, the bolt came out pretty easily and the threads weren't too badly buggered. I plan an extension to get the air filter to draw from the right side wheel well vent. Just stuck a k&n air filter on the end.

Yeah, I got a Cobb intake which has a fitting for it.

My donor came with that exact piece, cone filter attached to it fits just fine. Several photos in my thread

just make sure the diameter is the exact same size as factory or you will need to recalibrate.
