Forgive me if this has already been asked. Does the Cobb accessport allow you to turn off certain codes so the ck engine light does not flash? Like ABS, ect.? I am debating whether to buy one for future customer builds. ROM Raider is another option but the cobb unit looks easier to use. Though I guess is limited to what you can and can't do. Any info from someone who uses one would be appreciated.

Yes, it can turn all the codes off. However, it's locked to one ECU, so you couldn't share it across customer cars.

A tactrix cable will allow you to flash as many cars as you want, but as you mentioned the tools are a little less refined.

On my 2005, all it took was 12V on one of the cluster wires to turn the ABS light off. The ones that are annoying are the evaporative emissions CELs. Unless you want to put in a vent solenoid, fuel temp sensor, fuel pressure sensor, and an electronic drain valve, the ECU is going to throw codes.

I looked at ROMRaider and all of the ones I expect my build to trigger can be turned off.

Correct. I have a 2006 and I have ECU flash and RomRaider...and consequently no CEL codes, and I have removed all vent equipment etc.
The ABS light is not controlled by the ECU so that light has to be "killed" separately. Check my thread in electrical, which describes exactly how to do that (for an 06 that is)).
