Windscreen Woes

I know lots of people have gotten their windscreens to fit, we're not one of them.....

Shattered two trying to get them to sit flush with the frame. At rest with no pressure there's a gap around the outside at the top, there's also a gap dead center at the top of the screen and two massive gaps on either bottom corner.

What's the "fix"? Gobs and gobs of sealant?

Also, did we confirm that these are out of a late model Miata? Years?

Bummer... mine came taped in the frame and seemed to fit fine. Its been reported that they're from the last gen MR2.

Mr2, just put in the recommended amount of sealant and went right together for me .

I have not seen FFR recommend any amount of sealant, they just say to ask a pro to do it.

6Star, what do you mean you shattered 2? You had 2 windscreens?

I just installed the 4th one without any problems.
I have the windshield shop use a trim that looks like a lower case "h" and it turns out perfect.
