I have a coyote out of a wreaked f150. It has alternator and a/c compressor installed. The truck engine does not use an idler for alt. and no place to mount one. I plan on using alt. setup that is on engine. Has anybody else used one of these engines? Any tech would be appreciated. Thanks

I don't know what your running but I have a f150 coyote engine in my 33 I am not running a /c so I mounted alt. where ac unit would normally go , although to run the water pump you will need that idler pulley. On The 33 you can use the reverse mounted Honda alt. but still need the stationary pulley. I custom made a brkt for idler and used stock tensioner, I had to switch pulley from grooved to smooth. If I had to do it again I would just get a mustang timing cover set up it would simplify oil filter also.
