Hi gang:
This post is regarding my brother's coupe. Mine is in the body shop so I am trying to help him sort some of the "bugs" in his car. His most recent one is very perplexing. The bracket that holds the throttle pedal has bent to the side and partially collapsed. This is the vertical bracket built into the firewall that the pedal attaches to. He has only driven the car a few hundred miles since completed and has not had any opportunity to push the throttle aggressively.
I would think this bracket holding the throttle in this car would be very stout...but apparently not.
Anyone else have an issue with this?
