Did the kit come with any? What have some of you guys done? I didn't see anything in the manual and the only grommet I found was the one for the fuel vent.

The kit comes with grommets for the shifter cables and the steering rack, the only other one you really need for the wiring harness. You'll have to find a big one for that.
Some guys added additional holes to torque the LCAs, the donor car has two good donor plugs for that, one for the spare tire drain and one iirc by the heater core on the firewall.

I kept all the grommets from my donor on my build and used them throughout the build.

Also check out Seals-It. They have a bunch of different ones: http://www.sealsit.com/firewall.asp
I am considering using one of theirs, but may also consider the Daystar one above now that I know about it.

I used the daystar one for the power wires and reused a wrx one for the rest. I was running out of room in the wrx boot, and thought the high current wires were a good cutoff point since they could theoretically affect the data wires of the ABS system. Doubtful to be a problem, but made sense as a dividing point. I reused the engine harness boot where it leaves a water resistant space I created above the right side of the fuel tank.

Hi-
I just ordered a pack of 5 grommets for 1/16" plate thickness and 1-7/8" firewall hole diameter.

Mcmaster Grommet Update:
1. Quick but expensive ground delivery, $14 for grommets (5 ea) $11 for delivery.
2. Screwed 1 done to the bench and drilled it out with a 1-3/8" spade bit and reamed it a little.
3. The headlight plugs just squeaked through

Donor parts came without grommets, so place my order today. 1-7/8 x 1/6 for the electrical.

Chevy valve cover pcv grommets usually are not drilled so you can make the hole inside small or big. For small wires I just use a awl to make hole and it becomes self sealing.
